Comments : The JI was my last ship. Ill never forget hitting the pier at Fredricstad VI. We tore a hole in her side 105 feet long and one inch off the water. It turned our 3 week reftra in Gitmo into 3 months. There were alot of good people on the Jonas Ingram.

Comments : First duty station out of boot camp. Did three months mess cooking and was a DK Striker. Was transfered to USS Sarsfield when she headed out to Vietnam, had only a few days notice.
